Aakriti's POV
I woke up feeling the harsh sunrays on my face. I quickly covered my eyes with the backside on my hand.
Who the fvck had kept the window open ?
I sat up adjusting to the light and rubbed my eyes for a better view.
I looked at my side and found mishti half hanging on the bed while sleeping in don't know which position. I shook my head at her and went in bathroom to do my morning businesses.
I took an icy cold shower and wiped my body before applying my kind of favourite jasmine body lotion.
Entering in my closet I then wore my outfit of the day which was formal yet comfortable.

After doing some minimal makeup I looked at myself for the last time in the mirror. As to my expectations I looked gorgeous. Like I am. Always.
Call me self obsessed or what but it is what it is.
My phone rang and I saw the caller ID.
" Ma'am we are here downstairs. " I heard Robin saying and I hummed before hanging up the call.
I grabbed a sticky notepad and wrote a short note for mishti.
I'm leaving for the office and I'll be busy today so have your breakfast.

I kept it on the dinning table and wore my heels.
Exiting my penthouse i entered in the private elevator and it directly opened to the floor where my cabin was.
I entered in the cabin I walked towards a particular shelf and grabbed a file from it. My hands tightened on it as the anger rushed in my body remembering yesterday's incident.
It was a construction deal contract's file of HV Glamer's. And they had signed the contract in which they had assured us to return durability and protection and it also says that if because of their irresponsibleness any accident happens to any client or the boss itself then they'll back off from the deal without charging any amount.
And I was right, they showed their irresponsibleness yesterday. The architect could have warned us to not go inside. He just showed the way and went away. Anything could have happened. More bad or serious and what if it was me ? I do not have a strong back and shoulders like him. I would had got hurt or had broken my back till now.
But wait a minute !
Strong back and shoulders ?
When did I ever noticed him ?
More anger rushed in my body.
" Agrhhhh that guy ! Get the heck out of my brain DHRUV SAXENA ! " My voice rang in the cabin and I kicked the chair in anger.
Maybe I'm feeling guilty about the thing that he got hurt because of me.
Yeah !
That's why I'm even thinking about him !
Yeah ! That's the reason !
Or why would I think about a mare PA whom I barely know more than a day ?
Shrugging off my thoughts I exited the cabin and entered in the lift pressing the button of ground floor.
The lift opened and I saw someone unexpected.
" What are you doing here ? " I asked only to regret the next moment.
" What I'll do ? I'm your PA so I was coming to you. " He replied and I nodded.
" Are you going somewhere ? " He asked and then I noticed him properly. He was wearing a plain white shirt and navy blue formal pants.
Stop the fvck !
" Yeah I'll be back in an hour. Bring my breakfast till then. " I said and walked forward without waiting for any answer.
I just want to fire that bloody architect and his whole damn team right now.
But wait a minute !
Why I'm going there ?
I can fire them on a call or I should ask shreyansh to do that.
Why to go there personally ?
Arghhhhh ! Why I am acting so dumb ?
Taking a u turn I again entered in the lift pressed the button to my cabin.
The lift opened after a minute and I walked out and my gaze landed on my PA who had squatted down. I walked closer to him and noticed he was tieing his shoe lace. I
And as he noticed me he looked up and our eyes get locked. His eyes colour was brown.
How can he have such big lashes ? I looked at him more carefully.
Woah ! His skin is much clear and flawless than me.
The fuck !!
I came out of my trance when he stood up. I cleared my throat.
Did he caught me looking at him ?
Yes he did.
But he too was looking at me so why can't I ?
" You're back ? " He asked.
" Hm. Call shreyansh in my cabin and bring my breakfast. " I said.
" Um...what would you like to have ? " He asked.
" a strong black coffee and fried toast " I replied without thinking and walked towards my cabin.
I landed myself on the soft couch. And suddenly I started feeling sleepy. The couch seemed more comfy and soft than usual.
But before I could sleep I heard a knock on the door.
" May I come in ? " I heard shreyansh said voice. I sat up and replied.
" Come in. " He came in and walked near me.
" You called me ? " He asked and I nodded gesturing him to sit and he did.
" Fire the architect and his team ! " I said looking at him. His face changed in confusion.
" Fire them ? Why ? " He asked and I sighed and told him the whole incident.
" Oh. Okay I'll look into it. " He said and I nodded at him. He left from there and I grabbed my to scroll through my socials.
Ah ! Another day another article ?
I read the headline.

I rolled my eyes at it. Seriously ? Can't people meet for business stuffs ?
But they won't understand that's why I'm on the top not them.
Last time the media shipped a so called good looking with me just because I hired him to be the modal of my fashion brand.
I sighed and tried to not think about anything. My health is my priority right now and I shouldn't be concerned about the rubbish news of media.
By the word rubbish I remembered that I have to visit my family today.
I grabbed my phone and called my PA.
" In my cabin. Now. " I hung up without waiting for any answer. After few minutes I heard a knock.
" Come in. " I said.
He came in shutting the door behind and walked in my direction.
" We have to go somewhere. " I said and stood up.
" W-where ? " He asked with confusion.
" Just somewhere. Come with me. " I said and walked towards the door followed by him.
We entered in the lift with utmost silence between us.
Neither he asked something nor I said anything.
Coming out the lift we walked towards the exit gate of office building.
I nodded at the employees who wished me. We came out of the building and I saw my seven seater Mercedes Benz parked in the left side.
I saw the driver standing beside the car. Robin and Kevin were also present there.
They wished me and I nodded at them.
We all settled inside. I was sitting on the middle seat while Robin and Kevin were seated on the backseat. I looked at dhruv who was about to open the door of the passenger seat.
And I don't know what got into me that I said pointing at the seat beside me.
" Sit here. "
His face changed it's colour for a second but he nodded and settled himself beside me. The driver asked me where to go and I said.
" Drive to home. "
I glanced at dhruv from the corner of my eyes and his eyes slightly widened at my words.
Of course he'll be surprised.
The car started and I looked outside the window mentally preparing myself for God knows what.
I was planning to go there with mishti but I had to check the environment before we go together.
And somewhere I know where the all topic of conversation were going.
On my so called marriage.
The fvck !! Arghhhh.
Maybe I'm going home after a time that's why I'm feeling this.
But I didn't felt anything when I last visited home after a whole damn month.
Shrugging off the thoughts I focused myself on the usual city view.
